Nestled between Copenhagen’s royal castles, contemporary art galleries, classic theatres and historical buildings you will find Hotel Sanders, the city’s latest luxury boutique hotel.

Hotel Sanders is a wonderful boutique hotel, created by renowned Danish ballet dancer Alexander Kølpin and inspired by his personal experience and travels.

Nestled between Copenhagen’s royal castles, contemporary art galleries, classic theatres and historical buildings, the property was a former hotspot for the city’s cultural cognoscenti in the 1970-80’s.

Entering Sanders is like stepping into a theatre. Guests will always remain centre stage, but the scenography and carefully curated interiors will be the elegant and exquisite backdrop for their experience. The passion, generosity and professionalism of our staff will orchestrate the production to provide a memorable experience for our guests“ – says the owner Alexander Kolpin

The hotel has 54 luxurious rooms, each one with its style and design. From single Coupé rooms inspired by a bygone era of luxury train cabins, to apartments offering privacy and space, with separate lounge seating and open fireplaces. In each room guests will find comfort and luxury within the intimate space.

For elegant and stunning interiors, Alexander collaborated with London studio Lind + Almond.  They combined the glamorous age of travel and the drama of the theatre. Bespoke furniture offers hints of colonial décor, polished hardwood and rattan cane-couches result in a setting that is casual yet elegant, authentic yet luxurious. Moreover a peppering of Parisian sophistication and English eccentricity further adds to the charismatic mix.

Nevertheless the sensibility of Danish design creates a style that let you feel like at home. Situated in the historic centre of Copenhagen, just behind the Nyhaven Canal, guests are only a stroll away from the royal residences of Amalienborg Palace, the old stage of the Royal Theatre, Christiansborg Palace and the Royal Danish Opera.

It certainly worth a visit!
